In 2021, Channel 4 reached a one-off agreement to show live coverage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, using Sky Sports F1 commentary.
In July 2023, Channel 4 extended its contract with Sky through the 2026 season. From the 2022 season, Channel 4 took F1's in-house F1TV commentary produced by Formula 1 at Biggin Hill. The programme occasionally aired on More4 when Channel 4 showed other programming, such as during the Royal Ascot horse race.
